HARMONY OF LINES
This is the synthesis of proportions and lines, which come together to give shape to beauty and functionality, in a unique product. Designed by Pininfarina and made in Montegranaro, this shoe tells of two faces of Italian style; design and the art of the handmade.
It’s name is Monviso. In this mountain we have found the synthesis of mutual origins: Piedmontese like Pininfarina, with its river Po it connects Piedmont to Lombardy, the region where Velasca's story began.
Impermeable membrane
You don’t see it, but you feel it when you encounter rain and puddles. Inside the upper (the top part of the shoe), we’ve inserted a membrane that keeps the foot dry.
Foot protection
We’ve added more rigid parts, which protect the foot from bumps.On the back of the shoe and on the toe cap, to keep the heel and toes safe from uncontrolled movements made at speed. And on the sides, where the protective lines curve to resemble mountains.
Vibram Trail Sole
The Vibram sole, light and shock-absorbent, made with 30% recycled rubber. It’s designed for those who live on the move: it facilitates rapid lateral movement and has a great grip on the ground. The spaced-out rubber studs make for easy cleaning.
Suede calf leather
Soft suede leather with that typical velvet effect. It is cut and handcrafted in Montegranaro.
